High Income on the High Seas

One of the most popular vacations today is to take a
cruise. Many people think taking a cruise has to be
expensive, but that simply is not true. If you have
any experience making travel reservations than it is
possible for you to either earn extra income by booking
cruises for people or earn free cruises by booking
cruises for people in your spare time.

It really depends on what you want to do when it comes to
go about getting the cruises. There are many opportunities
out there to set up group cruises. You can put up posters
that advertise your service and then wait for potential
clients to come to you. For example, if you know that
a group of people in your area would like to take a
diving cruise or a family reunion cruise, you can help
them make their plans.

Depending on the size of the group you book for, a cruise
line may offer you heavily discounted rooms or a free room
for booking the group's room. Or, they may offer you a
commission based on the booking. You will have to pay
to get to the cruise ship itself, but may find yourself
in a luxurious room on a great cruise for free thanks to
a little time spent on the phone.

Booking the reservations is the easy part. You can either
book them right online or you can go to a nearby travel
agent to book. You will probably find cheaper rates if
you go online. The harder work is in finding the group
to book for, but with a little determination you will be
able to do that as well.

You need to be prepared to put down a deposit on the rooms.
Generally the deposit is 25% with the balance due about
75 days before the cruise. You should collect the deposits
from the group in advance and then you can put the deposit
on your credit card. There are some great deals that you
may find if you book less than 75 days out and are willing
to risk not finding a cruise. Ships generally do not like
to leave port with empty rooms, making nothing on them. They
can then offer heavily discounted rooms in order to earn
some income rather than none on there rooms. By keeping
these things in mind you may be able to take cheap or
totally free cruises.
