Beautiful Beaches From Around The World

A vacation spent on a white sand beach looking out on warm
turquoise waters, is many people's dream getaway. Many
people base their vacation destination on where the waters
are bathtub-warm, there are swaying palms, and you can kick
back and really relax. Every continent in the world boasts
some breathtaking beaches; here we will highlight a few.
Hawaii boasts some of the most romantic sun- drenched
beaches year round in the United States. If you want to get
away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then the
island of Kauai is the place for you. It has balmy
temperatures no matter when you head there. Kauai is the
least developed of any of the Hawaiian Islands and has very
lush, green surroundings. You can find sections of pristine
white sandy beaches that you can enjoy all to yourself.
While you're on Kauai, be sure to visit Poipu Beach if you
want a little more activity. There are water sports to
attract every member of the family. Snorkeling is
particularly great here due to the clarity of the warm
water. You can see hundreds of species of tropical fish in
all colors.
South Beach, Florida is another excellent beach vacation
destination. Since it's topless, it isn't considered a
family beach. Many adults frolic there, however. The miles
long beach is entirely manmade and the warm, tropical water
is very clean. Actually, more visitors are attracted by the
down home art deco culture, intermixed with the stunning
natural scenery. You'll also find numerous martini bars and
live Latin music for your listening and dancing pleasure.
We now head south to Brazil, Ipanema Beach to be exact.
Located in festive Rio de Janeiro, Ipanema Beach was made
famous by a song in the 60s bearing its name. If you are
looking to be surrounded by scantily clad beautiful people
(both men and women) then Ipanema Beach is the place for
you. Miles of white sand beaches equals many days worth of
sun, fun, and excellent people watching. A visit to this
beach and the surrounding area is a wild ride worth taking.
We now head back north to Canada. While many people don't
think of Canada as having beautiful beaches, Long Beach in
Tofino British Columbia will prove them wrong. While the
waters are not turquoise, Long beach is simply breathtaking.
Perfect for surfing and taking long walks down the shore.
There are plenty of tidal pools full of interesting sea life
such as starfish. Tofino itself is a quaint little fishing
town full of eccentric locals.
Next we're off to the French Riviera home to St. Tropez.
It's now one of the favorite places for a European
vacation, although it used to be known as a secret escape
for famous movie stars. This area attracts those with
appetites for the "best" things in life and they love to
let it show. It is near to Cannes, home to one of the
world's most famous film festivals. The ocean water is
bright blue and if you tire of sunning on the beach, find a
table at one of the beachfront bistros, sit back, and watch
all those gorgeous people.
People have always loved the scenic beauty of beaches and
there are no shortages of destinations. Just a few on the
worldwide list are Mexico, Caribbean, Costa Rica, Bali, and
Australia. You can be one of the many who visit exotic
beaches every year.
