Visiting Dallas is a great way to spend your vacation or
for a weekend get-away. The state of Texas is amazing in
its own right but tourists have proven that Dallas is the
most visited city in Texas. Dallas is situated on the
Trinity River and has many creeks and small tributaries
that branch off into the city. You can take a walk along
the Trinity and enjoy the many trees that line the path,
including oak trees, cottonwood trees, and pecan trees.

Dallas is extremely important in the financial and business
area of the southwest United States. You~ll find that the
city is always busy with one convention or another and
claims to be the busiest convention city in North America.
If you are planning to stay overnight in Dallas you will
have a multitude of fine hotels to choose from to fit your
budget, whether you are looking for budget accommodation or
want a luxury suite. If you want to be a part of the
hustle and bustle of Dallas you can find a hotel in the
downtown convention center area. If you want a quieter
place to stay you can consider a hotel in the suburbs or
out near the airport.

Dallas may be a big financial city but this doesn~t mean
that you won~t find a great amount of culture and art here
as well. There are many museums and art galleries that you
can visit during your stay in Dallas. One of the more
prominent museums that is a must see is the African
American Museum that is located at Fair Park. A walk
through this museum will keep you busy as you look at the
many displays and exhibits, which feature a huge collection
of African folk art and contemporary art. You~ll walk away
with a better understanding of African American heritage
and culture.

Another museum that will keep you occupied if are visiting
Dallas with your children is the Dallas Children~s Museum.
In this museum you and your children will have a hands-on
experience as you play in the many life-like scenarios that
include a farm, a hospital, a grocery store, and a
firehouse. After you~re done playing you can introduce
your children to a few of the cultural displays before
heading back out into the busy city of Dallas.

No trip to Dallas would be complete without a little
shopping. Dallas is home to a variety of boutiques and even
some second-hand shops that sell the wares of top- rated
designers such as Armani, Donna Karan, and Emanuael. Dallas
is also home to many a sports enthusiast - with professional
basketball, baseball, football and hockey. Or, if you want
to participate in sports, you'll find lots of challenging
golf courses. After 18-holes of golf, you can retire to one
of the many fine Dallas restaurants.

Regardless of what time of the year you visit Dallas, you'll
find something fun to do and leave with a desire to comeback
for more.
